Pep Guardiola praises Phil Foden
Man Utd was soon conceded by Man City in the 5th minute, after a dangerous finish from Kevin de Bruyne.
Man Utd’s right wing corridor could not prevent Bernardo Silva from escaping and stretched inward for De Bruyne to finish.
In the 22nd minute, Jadon Sancho brought the game back to balance after a very beautiful dribble and cut.
However, only 6 minutes, De Bruyne restored the lead for Man City. Once again the Man Utd defense made a silly mistake.
Early in the second half, in a dispute, Aaron Wan-Bissaka was not well shielded and was knocked over by Phil Foden and robbed the ball.
Foden is only 1m71 tall and weighs 59kg, while Wan-Bissaka is 1m83 tall and weighs 72kg (according to soccerwiki). The fact that the defender of Man Utd was “blown away” easily is difficult to accept. The former Crystal Palace star is also one of the worst names on the away team.
In the 68th minute, Riyad Mahrez raised the score to 3-1 for Man City with a beautiful one-touch finish.
In the 90 + 1 minute, Mahrez completed a double, setting a 4-1 victory for the home team.
The Citizens completely dominated in the second half, holding the ball to 79%, launching 14 shots, 5 on target and 2 goals. While Man Utd could not launch a shot after the break.
