Lionel Messi scored all the goals in Argentina’s 5-0 friendly win over Estonia in Pamplona, Spain on Sunday.
Messi joined a select club of only Juan Andres Marvezy and Manuel Moreno to score five goals in a single game for Argentina.
The Golden Ball scored seven times from the penalty spot in the eighth minute, then scored four more in the space of half an hour (45, 47, 71 and 76 minutes).
His quartet brought his country’s record total to 86.
Lionel Scaloni’s team is unbeaten in 33 matches, the most recent match being a 0-2 defeat against Brazil in the 2019 Copa America semi-finals.
At the World Cup finals in Qatar later this year, Argentina was held to a draw with Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
