Barcelona just drew 1-1 with Napoli in the knockout round of the Europa League. Ferran Torres is the author of the only goal of the Catalan team in this confrontation.
In addition to the developments and results on the field, there was also a remarkable incident that took place at Camp Nou when the fans continuously booed and protested the presence of Ousmane Dembele. The French striker was introduced to the field by coach Xavi Hernandez in the second half and received negative reactions from the stands.
Dembele was opposed by Barca fans.
Speaking about this incident, former Barca star Jordi Cruyff shared: “When any player puts on the Barca shirt, you should support from the first day until they leave the team. Sometimes things don’t work out. Go the way you want, Dembele didn’t renew him but if the manager uses him you have to be with him when he’s on the pitch.
And though he sympathizes with fans’ thoughts on the situation. But it must be admitted that those negative reactions will be detrimental to Barcelona itself
I can understand what the fans are thinking, but I hope Dembele doesn’t get booed anymore , it’s like Barca have to play 10 against 12, we have to always support our players.”
